I really don't even know where to begin. This last transfer flew by. Elder Mhkize went home at the beginning of last week. I then double covered my area and Mowbray's area. While doing that I had to also train all the new missionaries coming into the mission on how to properly use Facebook in the Misson! So, this week has been filled with lots of tasks and things. But I am glad to say that that is over now. I now have my companion as of Friday (which was transfer day!) My new companion here in Milnerton is Elder Smedley! Yep, you heard that right, Elder Smedley from my MTC group! This is the second time that I have had a companion from my MTC group! I am so excited to Serve with him and I have learned a lot from him already. I have been trying to do my best to clean up our area book so we worked on that for the last few days. However, as that is clean now, it's time to focus on our wonderful friends now! I have a feeling that this transfer is going to go by really fast. That's a lot of the big updates, we are still in charge of social media and making sure that we are using social media to the highest degree that we can! Social media is a wonderful resource that each one of us have. We can either use it for the good or for the worse. It's completely up to you.
Other than all of that I am not too sure what else to say. So, I want to say this. I can't believe how much our Heavenly Father loves us. It's so amazing to see how every day he blesses us with something. He watches us, He hears our prayers, He knows all of our thoughts. In the last few months, it has been quite rainy. And I'm not sure if you know this but we are on bikes since our car is in the shop for repair. (It's been there for a while) Anyways, EVERY time is has rained and I said a prayer asking Heavenly Father to help us make it dry. He has answered each one of those prayers stopping the rain just long enough for us to make it through the storm dry. I know he hears each one of us. He loves us. Never give up.
Also don't forget to watch conference if you missed it.
With Love,
Elder Lawrence

Molo, ndiyathemba ukuba uqhuba kakuhle.
Since it's been a while, I figured I should write an email to catch everyone up to speed on what's happening on this side of the world!
Soo. This transfer is almost over so there is a lot to talk about! Starting off with Zone Conference on this go around of zone conferences Elder Smedley and I gave a training on contacting our friends who sign up for visits on Facebook! And we sang the song: Amazing Grace! I believe this was my first time giving a training at zone conference. So that was fun! The next important event was Brother Banfield being called as our ward Mission leader! Such a beast! He is definitely much older than we are, in fact in some of the lessons he introduced himself as Grandpa! 🤣 We are very thankful for his diligent efforts in helping the ward grow! He is making a huge difference! A few weeks later we had a baptism for our good friend Denzel! This guy was literally a member, even though he didn't know of the church before.. It was crazy to teach the lessons and then have him agree on everything.. Some people are so ready to hear the gospel, they are just waiting for someone to say here is the truth! The coolest part of Denzel's Baptism was his preparation from the Lord. He has been going around from church to church but not finding one that was right. He said that in each of the churches he went to he found something that made him uneasy or just didn't make sense. My testimony has grown even more from his testimony of the true restored church!! Now it's time to get him off to a YSA convention. 😂
The other morning, we had an amazing breakfast with Dez, a good friend from our ward here in Milnerton. One of my favorite things to do is get to know people and their life’s story which has made them who they are today and to see what their families are able to accomplish, as families are where everything begins. So never give up on your family.
Okay, now let's talk about the last few weeks. On Saturday I was able to go on exchanges with Elder Schuller, in which we participated in a helping hands project of cleaning up the river adjacent to the temple grounds! That was a lot of fun to be able to help out in the community so close to the soon to be temple! And for this Monday we had a little fun trying to hit golf balls at the driving range… I might need to practice a little more.
Well, I love and miss each of you. I pray that you are doing well, and that life is treating you well!
Love,
Elder Lawrence
