Phew what a week, can I just say the weeks are flying by! I have loved missionary work and my time to study the gospel! It's been amazing to wake up and study it every morning for an hour! Saying all of that, this week’s email is going to be short. Again. I know I'm sorry, I'll be better next week.
This week we received uncontactable referrals. Basically, other missionaries couldn’t get them to answer or they didn’t have data, so we just had to pull up to their homes and hope their addresses were right. Anyway, we pulled up to these homes and asked if the referral lived there. Most of them told us they were at another house now. So, we went to that new address and found everyone but them. We found their family's and they were interested in hearing more about the gospel! So that was pretty sweet!
We also went on exchanges this week with KwaMagxaki, another area in our zone. I went to their area with Elder Birch, he is also from Idaho and is a beast! This guy can cook, workout, and have fun while working hard! He is an amazing, well rounded missionary and person! Fun fact he is only two months older than me, but he has been out for just over a year now. He is amazing and it was fun to see their area.
We also had a baptism in their area while on exchanges, so that was fun to go to my first baptism!
Today was amazing! We left our apartment at 7 and drove to the ZL's boarding where we left to Addo Elephant Park. It's an Elephant Park where they have a bunch of roads and you can just drive around. It was awesome to see a lot of God’s creations we normally don’t get to see in Idaho. 🤣 We saw lots of elephants, wart hogs, monkeys, zebras and lots of other animals... I'll add some pictures.
We were in the car for over 8 hours today. Most of which I was stuck in the back middle seat of a car... not so fun. But the animals were amazing!
I also extended an invitation to my family to read the Book of Mormon every day! Two chapters a day. Everyone should join us and keep them accountable! It is an amazing way to build your faith and strengthen your foundation in the gospel. So do it! Make a commitment. I promise you will see the blessing of sacrificing your time to study it.
But only if you do it. Also, don't forget to start with a prayer. (Before you read😉) and after you study and read)
You can also use these resources to help further your studies and understanding.
Happy studying!
