Helllllloooo everyone! I hope y'all have had a great couple of weeks! This past week has been pretty crazy so far! I was transferred up to Greenville, Ohio.
It's about the same size of Ontario in comparison. It was super hard already saying goodbye to everyone in Winchester. I grew pretty close with some people there but I know there is someone here in Greenville I'm suppose to meet. I've met some pretty sweet people here already and so far and it has been pretty fun!
Elder Brown is my new companion and he's pretty sick! We fit together really well and we have had a blast so far. The work here is coming along. We've had several miracles happen this week! When I first got here, last Tuesday, we only had 1 person we were teaching. The other day we did some service for some members and they said their daughter just got married to a nonmember and he wants to start taking the lessons so we went over there and gave their daughter a blessing because she has been sick and such. After the blessing the guy said he wants to start hearing about what we teach because they want to be sealed in the temple. It was so sick, I can't wait!
I also saw this guy in his garage and he was loading up a duck blind onto his boat, so I took off. Since I've been out, I haven't been able to talk ducks with anyone because everyone says "there are no birds here." haha The guy I ran towards was about to go inside. I ran all the way down his driveway and pretty much like halfway into his garage haha. That's how desperate I was to talk to him and I caught him as the door was closing. I asked 1 question loudly so he could hear. I asked "are you a duck hunter?" lol... and just like anyone that loves hunting as much as me loves to talk about it, he quickly came back out into the garage and was like "oh heck yeah I am!" Haha, we talked for a really long time and he started asking us lots of questions! I guess opening duck season was the next day. He's a pretty die hard duck hunter so it was really fun to talk to him!
Well, we have like 5 solid people now to talk to and to teach a bit! Anyway, miracles do happen if you have faith! So always have faith and trust in the Lord just as it says in Moroni 7 : 28 we will be able to cleave unto every good thing!
I testify of this! It's true! I love you all! In Jesus' name, amen!
