I didn't send out a email last week, that's my bad. I kind of forgot and didn't have much to talk about anyway.

This week was better though! We started off the week on exchanges. Elder Malan and I were down in Maysville, Kentucky. We had an absolute blast and super effective day. We went to a town called Augusta, Kentucky. We had a blast there. There is actually a ferry down there (picture attached) that takes cars across the river, and for walk on's it is free. So, we hopped on along with three cars, and it took us across the river. There were a few houses over there so we decided to get off.

The guy working on the ferry said the last trip across was at 7, so we figured we would get off and knock a few houses. We got off and there was only like 3 houses and no one answered so we walked back to the ferry and soon found out, that since walk on's are free they don't care if you are waiting on the other side of the river haha. So, we just sat down and prayed for a car to come soon so the ferry would come back to the Ohio side of the river.

After close to an hour a car on the other side loaded up and the ferry was headed back to us. But, then we found out the ferry won't leave our side unless there is a car that needs to go across.

So we once again waited for a car to show up. One eventually did and we went back across to Kentucky lol. It was a pretty sick experience that I will not forget.

Other than that exchange, it was kind of another slow week. We did service for a guy we are teaching and we told him we had to be fast because we have Conference. We explained what conference is and he thought it was cool! Then he said, although he is Methodist he does believe there are prophets and apostles out there somewhere so we asked him if we could watch it at his house with him, and he said it sounded good to him. So he fed us and we got to watch conference with him! He also said we can come back Tuesday and watch more so that's pretty sick!

I know conference is powerful and that everyone who spoke pondered on their message. I know we do indeed have living prophets and apostles on the earth today. You can feel the spirit so strong when they speak. I love you all and hope y'all had a good conference weekend!
